Blog 9: Response to Carver “Cathedral”

The story is mainly talking about the narrator's wife have a friend which is a blind man who will come to visit them. The narrator feels very uncomfortable with the blind because he has no idea how to communicate with blind people. In addition, the blind man also have a special relationship with the narrator's wife which makes him feels angry. In the end, the have a dinner together, and then get to know each other finally.
I pretty like the part that the narrator trying to explain the cathedral to the blind man. He is trying  to talk to him first, and then hold his hand to draw the cathedral instead of explain it literally. This is a great connection between the narrator and the blind man, and also get me touched.
